Company Celebration Gala
To kick off the Holiday Pops season, Boston Symphony Orchestra hosts a gala to celebrate and thank our company donors. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, we created a theme and design brand for this event and I implemented it to all the materials. In previous years, this event has been known as the "Company Christmas Gala." This was our first year moving to a more secular theme, so the design was to be as holiday neutral as possible.
Inspired by string lights wrapped around trees in the winter time and the starry effect that they project, we created this cover for the program that would inspire the design for the rest of the materials. As an effective design tool and a way to emphasize the change in name of the event, we highlighted "Celebration" in a bold script font. While this gala is meant to be a stand-out event from the rest of the Pops programming, we used new typefaces but similar colors to the Pops branding so it still felt within the realm of the Holiday Pops.
